Disney begins casting twins for ‘Two For The Road’ aka ‘Suite Life on Deck: The Movie’

Disney Auditions for ‘Two For The Road’ are underway

Disney Channel and It’s a Laugh Productions are ready to begin production on ‘Two For The Road’. The project was previously known as ‘Suite Life On Deck: The Movie’. The film will air as a Disney Channel Original Movie on Disney Channel, and not be a theatrical release.

Emmy Award nominated Sean McNamara will direct the movie. McNamera has directed such Disney Channel shows as Even Stevens, Phil of the Future, That’s So Raven, Zeke and Luther and Jonas. He is repped by Debbie Deuble Hill at Agency for the Performing Arts (APA). Primetime Emmy Award nominated Irene Dreayer and Pamela Eells will serve as co-executive producers. They both were co-executive producers for the two Disney ‘Suite Life’ series.

The Los Angeles casting directors for ‘Two For The Road’ are seeking sets of teen twins, male and female, any ethnicity. These are for co-starring, principal and featured roles. There will also be sets of twins cast to be actors and extras in Vancouver.

Thank you for all the wonderful birthday wishes. It feels good to be 18.  This year of being 18 is gonna be a crazy one with alot of new things going on, but I’m ready!

Swapping TV scripts and sets for a canvas and student life at NYU,pimpom decided to catch up with Dylan for an exclusive chat about his biggest passion.

Articulate TV/Movie actor DYLAN SPROUSE is embarking on a new and exciting creative path. As filming for the third season of his hit Disney Channel show The Suite Life on Deck comes to an end, Dylan begins preparations for university and will be starting his Fine/Studio Arts and Economics degree at NYU this fall.

As stated on his official website, “Art is my biggest passion.. and is what I want to do for the rest of my life alongside acting and even after I leave the acting industry” (sprousebros.com). And so far things are going well. In 2006 Dylan drew and created the characters William and Shady which have just emerged as 3D figures and launched at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego last week.
Dylan also recently set up an art blog –sprousearts.com – to talk about his favorite artists and artwork along with his upcoming works and designs.

So, what is he most looking forward to about his course at NYU, is there a ‘best bit’ to toy designing and who are some of his inspirations?pimpom caught up with Dylan to discuss all this…

pimpom: What form/s of art do you find best to express your creativity and what are you looking forward to learning more about on your course at NYU?
Dylan Sprouse: Normally I use ink and watercolor, and during my NYU experience I’m looking forward to learning more about the human anatomy and how to sketch it, my true artistic weakness lies in that of the face.

pp: Who are some artists you admire? Do you have a particular favorite piece of work or set of workings?
Dylan: I enjoy Joe Ledbetter’s, and Francisco Goya’s style, but if i were to choose any artist in history it would have to be Hieronymus Bosch because of his twisted style.

pp: With your interest in Fine Arts and video game cultures, what’s your take on the debate over whether video games can be counted as an art form?
Dylan: It really depends on the game i suppose, such games asShadow of the Colossus andGrim Fandango I consider art, but so many other games just consist of mindless violence….doesn’t mean they aren’t fun however hahaha

pp: It must have felt like a great achievement when a character you created (William and Shady) became made into figures and launched at Comic-Con. Is designing and that process something you’re planning and wanting to do more of?
Dylan: It’s not so much the process i love, for it is long and boring, but more the outcome of the process that is most rewarding, seeing something you created with your hands become a toy sculpted by a master of his craft is similar to the birth of a child from the artist’s standpoint (though I havent had a child just yet), it’s fantastic to view the final product, and you can only hope it does well in it’s lifetime. After all is said and done, you feel more like a father than an artist.

The origin of William and Shady:

Once a glorious, wealthy, soft spoken entrepreneur, William now walks the
earth as a husk, doomed to do the bidding of Shady, the parasite who lives in
his back. One day, whilst on a African elephant hunt, William decided to take a
nice nap under the shade of a baobab tree, BUT little did he know trouble was
afoot, for the smooth talkin, jazz musician/ parasite with a Spanish accent
nested there, and the rest is self explanatory. Due to Shady’s venom, William
has lost sight in his lower eyes, but gained an incredible power in the upper,
he can shoot a mind control beam from the retina (sold separately) assuring that all who stand in the
way of his might will befall the same fate he did that fateful day.

D;The build of me and Cole is small throughout the life. that’s all,Did you understand? lol
Arriving to The other side of the table,Primarily even if I throw a ball with every power. lol
I can’t throw more than it. lol
Possibly everybody may be surprised,Though I was a small build I was quite good at the football.
Cole and I like sports.However, because I always work on a weekday,I want to spend the weekend in a house.
Because I don’t want to be tired, I want to spend time indoors.
The day without the work of the summer,I go to the beach every day.

D;There is a certain promise among Cole and me. lol
If there is the very pretty girl who seems to be able to date close,
[Either lonely person has a right to be able to date] It is a promise.
There isn’t the right to choose to her. lol
Yet,Success isn’t certain.
In fact,was able to date unexpectedly thereby. lol
But if Cole flirted with her openly,I withdraw,and if he is my situation, he does the same thing.

D;Our bone is strong one. lol
We do various things to keep a girl-like build. lol
And of course I exercise.
Fortunately, As for us, metabolism tends to be early genetically.
Otherwise,I expect that I was very fat. lol
Because our father is very active,Even if we want to stay in a house,We must be taken to the beach to father.
